*Haro flew down the corridor to Amaruq's quarters. Bursting through the door and awaking Amaruq with a start*

He's gone Amaruq! Kodo's left, all he left behind was my bounty puck! I think he's going to try and kill the woman....and if he left this behind.... I don't think he plans on coming back.

*When Haro bursts in through the door to deliver his news, he’s met with Amaruq, already dressed and grabbing his staff to leave. He turns to Haro*

We’ll find him my friend, I took the necessary cautions.

*He reaches into his pocket and pulls out a tracking fob*

He thinks he’s the only stealthy one here, I managed to put a tracer in our friends satchel last night, just incase he tried something like this.

Now let’s go find the him before he hurts anyone further.

*The two start down the hallway and out of the ship.*

*Elan turns the corner from the bridge, her arms full of pages and holodisks. She took in their serious demeanor and came to a stop. Her heart stuttered as she considered that they may be leaving.*

Amaruq...Haro...where might you two be going at such a late hour?

There's no need to worry, Lass. We're just running an errand.

*Haro looked over at Amaruq and back to Elan*

Have a good rest, Captain.

*Tapping on the door panel, it slide open with a woosh revealing the trouble makers, and the sensible one stand not far from his door*

I will come. Fill me in on the way, I may be more helpful than one thinks

*he said walking up to Haro and Ameruq.*

The force has spoken and its song is loud. No choice in this.

*Elan looks at Zeno before turning her gaze to Amaruq.*

Amaruq, care to explain?

*Amaruq let’s out a sigh and then looks at Elan while picking up Zeno to put on his shoulder.*

Seems your friend went out to finish what he started, either stay or go. The choice is yours.

*Amaruq, Haro, and Zeno make their way down the ramp.*

Curse your honest nature Amaruq.

*Haro let's out a sigh and a little chuckle and crosses his arms as he made his way out*

*Elan feels a small sting of betrayal at Kodo's actions. She had hoped to find an ally in him, but it seemed even he had decided she wasn't cut out for it. She nodded, searching for a place to put the pages and disks on the way out.*

Let me come with you. Even if we disagree now is not the time to deal with her. He hasn't prepared enough.

*She pauses for a moment before deciding to continue.

She isn't someone to mess around with. He's going to end up dead or worse.

*He positioned himself to stand on Ameruqs should after being picked up and placed on him. He was a little lost aside from the fact that Kodo had left in the middle of the night and no they were trying to find him or rescue from the sounds of it.*

We will try to do this without bloodshed to make our lives easier, okay? So what's this all about?

Well, to put it bluntly. Kodo and Elan have been murdering crime lords and government officials from what it seems. All seem to be tied to the bloodletters. In some way or another, and the latest is some sort of scientist working with the empire. Kodo is on his way now to kill her, Master Zeno.

*Elan ground her teeth together in an attempt to keep her mouth shut. It would do her no good to argue with them now, and her priority was the safety of her crew, Kodo included. The details weren't important for now.*

*Cran sitting on a box looks up to see the hole crew leaveing the ship*
"You guys going with kodo."

*Zeno stared pointedly at Elan as Haro explained what had been going on while hed holed up in his quarters meditating and listening to the guidance of the forces wisdom*

Okay, so mainly let's try to get Kodo back before he gets to the empire lady. I'd rather not be seen by a known empire agent. If he's already in the room with her, subdue them both and we'll suggest she turn herself into the senate.

*he said as they passed Cran sitting on a box*

You'd see which direction he went?

*cran points*
"That way what's going on with the Empire."

*Kodo jogged lightly taking paths across the rooftops, heading for one of the main plazas. He knew a speech was due today, a perfect time to strike and be done with this. He readjusted his rifle, slung over his shoulder, he'd have to hurry, Haro had probably found the puck by now, he just had to kill the Togruta before Haro killed him*

*Elan tried to calm her racing mind enough to focus.*

I'm going to try and see if he is alright.

*She focus on his now familiar energy, searching into the future as well as she could in her panic. She shuddered, almost missing a step before speeding up.*

I can't see anything. It's just blank. We need to hurry.

*Amaruq looking down at the fob and back to Elan*

It says we’re getting close! Me and Zeno will travel alongside you on the rooftops.

*He glances over his shoulder at a slightly worried Zeno*

Hang on my friend! *Amaruq leaps to the rooftops above, trying to not throw his companion off of him.*

*Haro dashes along side Elan, noticing her worried expression and felt his heart drop. Even though he was mad at her he felt the task at hand was more important.*

Amaruq has the right idea, Elan!! I know Kodo better than most. He's an excellent sniper. If he's going to kill her he'll do it on a tall building not far off from her location!! We need to hurry!

*holding onto a tuff of fur he leaned into the wind as Amaruq ran across the roofs. His eyes closed as he felt around with the force searching for a missing not in its song before finally getting something*

Turn left at the next entersection were going to the target building to convince someone to turn themselves in.

*Kodo reached out with his senses, his ability to see people's light looking for pursuit. THERE. He felt them, he picked up his speed, his feet dully thudding against the tile, and cement rooftops. It was going to be a near thing, but hopefully he could squeeze a shot off before they caught up*

*Elan pushed herself to go faster, her promise to protect Kodo along with her crew echoing in her mind. She feared her incompetence had cost her the life of another friend. The sudden realization that she considered him a friend sent her reeling for a moment. She hadn't realized how much her crew had begun to mean to her until she was afraid she may be losing one of them.*

Haro, Cran, we need to move faster.

*She could see Amaruq darting across the rooftops, a flash of brown fur, as he raced towards Kodo, Zeno clinging on tightly.*

*cran sighed *
"Yes boss"

Kodo finally reached his vantage point, skidding on his knees, and dropping to his belly. Lining up his barrel, with the brightness that was his targets life. Squeezing gently, the trigger clicked, and a hissing boom roared from his rifle as the plasma bolt sped on its way. He felt the target turn at the last second, the bolt burning through her arm instead of her heart. Damnit, he missed. He'd have to follow her inside.

The security team filed inside a nearby building to tend to the assistant.

*Haro was in shape for being in his 30th planetary cycle, he trained and worked hard to keep in peak physical condition, but now it seemed it wasn't enough. No matter how fast his middle-aged legs carried him it didn't seem fast enough. He took a deep breath lowered his head and pushed as hard as he could making a beeline behind Amaruq from the ground.*
