Return to the Shadows

*Amaruq perked up when he heard the shot, the fob beeping faster and faster. He turns the corner and catches a glimpse of Kodo jumping towards a nearby building.*

This way! *He shouts to the companions below. Then stops at the roof where he saw Kodo jumped from. Trying to get an idea of where and who his target is*

*Haro looks up towards Amaruq and dashes harder leaping over a vendors table and twisting in midair to go under the awning. Hitting the ground with his feet still running Elan and cran inches behind.* We need to Hurry!

*Elan's eyes scan the area for Kodo, catching a glimpse of him darting into the upper-level window of a building.*

*Elan's feet skid as she slows, turning towards the door.*

*Kodo had made it inside the building under the guise of a panicked crowd member. How much bad luck could one man have. Kodo now started to move towards the Senators assistant, who was being nursed for the shoulder wound, a large chunk of the joint hanging open to the air. Kodo slipped forward his hand on his concealed vibroblade, he just had to get close enough...

*as cran ran again after kodo who for a blind guy get around*
"Boss what is the plan here."

*Amaruq shoots a glare at Cran*

Why don’t you and Elan wait here and make sure we don’t get any unexpected visitors. Elan, you and Zeno be ready incase we need backup. Keep an eye out for imperials and alert us on comm.

Haro, your with me. Let’s see if we can get to him before we’re too late...

*The two make their way into the building. Amaruq switching to his bow and arrow and his knife for better stealth.*

*Haro nodded then paused for a moment*

ELAN!.....

*Haro tossed Elan Kodo's bounty puck*

Hold on to that for me.

*He turned around and pulled his hood up and drew his vibroblade then bounded after Amaruq. A chill ran down his spine. He knew something felt different this time*

*Elan reached to snatch the puck from the air, taking a large step forward. As her fingers closed around it, she felt someone slam into her side hard as the crowd panicked. She stumbled slightly, the hood of her cloak falling back to reveal her shocked face and head full of long silver curls. She quickly righted herself, pulling her hood back up and stepping back to her place with Cran and Zeno.*

*Rudas eyes caught a flash of silver. She smiled through the pain of her blaster wound. She stood up, above the shivering and cowering crowd. Shouting, "Amidst the shadows we rise, to strike the fatal blow!!"

Her face scanned the crowd looking for the flash of silver again.

*Kodo slipped closer, his pistol and vibroblade ready...

*Elan stiffened, her face passively blank. She turned quickly and strode through the crowd toward Ruda, ignoring the swirl of chaos around her.*

*Kodo rose his blaster, the light if her life fixed squarely in his force sight. He squeezed off a shot, the blaster firing off a retort. The blaster bolt arched through the air, blazing towards her.

*Suddenly to haro the room went silent and time stood still. He spotted Kodo and saw his blaster fire off. His body moved on its own accord as he lept in front of the togruta taking the bolt to the chest before falling to the ground in a heap infront of her. the swirl of confusion and and panic started to fade back in as he began to black out. looking towards Kodo, Haro began to crack a smile and rise a shaking hand.*

It's about time you learned to aim.....Kodo...

*Before anyone could get a good look Amaruq grabbed Haro and darted through the crowd, leaping to a nearby rooftop to get out of sight of the crowd below.*

*Elan's lifeless eyes flashed to Kodo in the crowd nearby, and she changed direction immediately. Within seconds, she was right beside him, taking ahold of his arm and twisting it behind him, forcing him forwards towards Ruda.*

"Wha-what the hell Elan, let go."

Kodo aimed an elbow to her solar plexus, hoping to knock the breath from her.

*Kodo felt his shoulder pop, the pressure causing his shoulder to dislocate. Kodo grunted and relaxed the muscles, walking forward with Elan.*

* Rudas eyes glimmered with malicious intent, it seems she was fortunate the young girl had been In the crowd.* 

"Get the low life's out of here, secure the entrances, seems myself and these guests have an unexpected meeting" Rida barked to the guards at her sides. They started ushering out the panicked civilians.

*Amaruq quickly threw some bandaging over Haro’s wound and made his way to the edge of the roof. With his bow in hand and a arrow ready to be drawn, he watched the altercation below, waiting to see if he needed to make a shot.*

*Haro's eyes fluttered open breifly enough to make out a very blurry Amaruq. His lips parted and he weakly crooked*

Elan.... somethings wrong.........

*Haro again faded out. Before the pain in his chest snapped him back to a lucid state. A constant game of cat and mouse with his conciseness*

*Rudas glared at the blind man,anger building as she felt her shoulder throbbed painfully*

"Elan, make him kneel, Kodo, my old associate, seems you're still up to old tricks are you not? To think my old friend has turned a new leaf. Now the rescuer, not the slaver hmm?"

*Elan slammed her booted foot into the back of Kodo's knee. She grasped his dislocated shoulder, holding him in place.*

*he couldn't believe he was about to do this, hed avoided fights for the better parts of his life and now, he was just jumping right into one. Taking a deep breath he jumped out of his hiding spot. Leaping several feet in the air before landing squarely on Elans shoulders with little to no apparent effort before gently placing both his hands on her temples and speaking to her in her mind through the force*

Elan, you aren't yourself. Focus, you don't want to do this. Release Kodos arm.
